Email settings for any app or device

These are the settings to use in any email app: Apple Mail, Outlook, the Gmail app, Thunderbird and others.

  • Account type: IMAP
  • Email address and username: the full address, for example info@yourdomain.com
  • Password: the password of that mailbox
  • Incoming server (IMAP): panel.bytelegion.site, port 993, security SSL/TLS
  • Outgoing server (SMTP): panel.bytelegion.site, port 465, security SSL/TLS (or port 587 with STARTTLS)
  • Outgoing authentication: on, with the same username and password

Use panel.bytelegion.site as the server name even though the address is on your own domain: it is the name our mail certificate is issued for, so your devices connect securely without certificate warnings.

Choose IMAP: your mail stays on the server and is the same on every device, so what you read or delete on the phone is read or deleted on the computer too.

Prefer not to do it yourself? Your plan includes email set up on your devices by us: open a support request and tell us which devices you use.
